Well, it looks like we are going to go at the end of January 2013. The final stage of the Fantasyland expansion is suppose to be completed and opened in December of 2012. January is a nice time to go because the weather is much more pleasant as well as the crowds. The foliage might still be wintery, but I would rather not be sweating my keester off.
We are now trying to decide which resort????? There is the "NEW" Pixar resort with rooms themed like their movies, they have the Pirate Rooms and Castle Rooms added to Carribean Beach and then there is our all time favorites "The Grand Floridian" or "Polynesian". It will all come down to the best discounts. While typically the you can get some really good discounts this time of year, I still look for that better deal. The most we have ever, EVER paid for a 5 night, 6 day vacation with passes and free dining was $2898. Needless to say, I look for the discounts.
