When to go ????

I will be the first one to say that "Off Season" is the best time to go. However, with that said now that I have a daughter in high school and in color guard, it's not so easy. Their schedules are super busy. I think we can still do it, but I will have to be creative. There are so many things coming up first. We need to finish the addition on the house and figure out how we are going to get to New York for Thanksgiving being that Lauren will be performing in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this year. Can I just say that I am going to be going to the Disney Store in New York for sure. ;-) I will continue to search for discounts on the wdwinfo, allears and mousesavers websites. they are the best. We just have to keep in mind that between the websites and books, there are thousands of people following that advice. My goal is to get a great deal for hopefully January 2013. Let the challenge begin......

All Aboard

Well, I have taken a leap of faith and started my blog. My friends think I am crazy for talking about Disney, but when they or their friends plan a trip, who do you think they think about first? You got it.......me.
I hope you will all enjoy this blog as I start to plan our 17th trip to our "Home away from Home".
We have stayed at many resorts over they years and are rather torn this year. They are adding so many new things. They are adding the new Animation Resort by Pop Century, adding Cinderella Castle Themed rooms to Port Orleans French Quarter and already have Pirate rooms at Caribbean Beach Resort.
So stay tuned as this journey starts.......
